Setup
Antares replaces the search in your Shopware shop. It takes about ten minutes, and you do not need an agency for it. This page is the overview; each step has its own page with the detail.
Prerequisites

If your shop runs behind a strict Content-Security-Policy, read Content-Security-Policy first. Two directives have to be added, or the widget will not load in your customers’ browsers.
The five steps
Section titled “The five steps”- Install the plugin — about 2 minutes. From the Shopware Store or via Composer. The plugin holds no search logic; it makes the connection and delivers the product data.
- Connect the shop — about 3 minutes. One click on Connect with Commergy in the Shopware admin, sign in, done. There are no API keys to copy around.
- Index — 1 to 20 minutes, depending on the catalogue. It runs visibly: you watch the product count climb. Your shop stays online and keeps searching the way it did.
- Go live — about 5 minutes. Pick a layout, check the preview, publish. From the next page load your customers search through Antares.
- Check — ongoing. What to do when something does not look the way you expected.
What does not happen along the way
Section titled “What does not happen along the way”- Your old search stays in place. The plugin leaves Shopware’s own search form untouched. If Antares goes down, our loader waits three seconds and then gives up — your customers get Shopware’s results. Worse, but nothing breaks.
- No customer sees anything before you publish. Indexing and configuration happen in the background. The switch-over is a deliberate click in step 4.
- No deployment. Layout, colours and copy change in the panel. There is no Twig override for your agency to carry forward through every update.
How long it really takes
Section titled “How long it really takes”The ten minutes are steps 1, 2 and 4 added up. Step 3 runs alongside and does not need your attention: 10,000 products are indexed in a few minutes, 100,000 take longer. You can close the tab; indexing continues on our side and the panel shows you where it got to when you come back.
